Back to school: Economics Edition

Happy Saturday, y'all! School is back in session for most of America this week (unless, of course, you live here in New Orleans where the threat of flooding kept the schools shuttered). I’m doing something a little different this week due to the extraordinary influx of economic analysis that hit this week. Daveslist doesn’t normally have a “theme”, but it’s safe to say you’re about to go into chart overload. With the exception of a couple pieces on sea wolves and chimpanzees mastering rock-paper-scissors, this whole issue is Economics.
I’d really love to hear your reaction to these stories. I’m honestly trying to parse it all myself.
Let’s get it on…

That’s it for this week, y'all. Let me know what you thought about this week’s econ lesson with a THUMBS UP or DOWN below. I’d love it if you’d leave some feedback there or by hitting REPLY and letting me know directly. As always, feel free to share with anyone else you think might enjoy it.
Have a fantastic weekend, stay safe, and I’ll see you next Saturday!
Did you enjoy this issue?
